A peer-to-peer golf-gear marketplace, web and mobile

Vinted for golf clubs. Sell the set gathering dust in the garage, or pick up someone else's, on your phone or the web. You get what you paid for, or your money back.

The ButterGolf marketplace: second-hand golf clubs listed for sale on web and mobile.

The problem

Second-hand golf clubs live in garages. Someone wants to sell a set they no longer use; someone else wants to pick one up. Peer-to-peer is the obvious answer, but buying golf gear from a stranger online has always felt like a gamble.

There is no protection, no recourse, and no single place that handles the listing, the payment and the dispute if something goes wrong.

What we built

ButterGolf is a peer-to-peer marketplace for golf gear, on the web and on mobile, with one login across both. The brand and identity were built from scratch.

Brand from scratch
The identity, name and visual system were built from the ground up.
Web and mobile, one login
One account works across the web app and the mobile app.
Listings
Sell a set gathering dust, or browse for one to pick up, on a phone or the web.
Buyer protection
Buyer funds are held in escrow until both sides are happy with the deal.
Refunds and disputes
Refunds and disputes are handled on the platform, not left to the buyer to chase.
Money-back
You get what you paid for, or your money back.

A marketplace lives or dies on trust. The product had to make buying from a stranger feel safe before it could feel easy.

The result

A peer-to-peer golf-gear marketplace where buying from a stranger feels safe, and a brand to go with it.

ButterGolf
I was struggling to find someone who actually understood what I was trying to create, until I found Kyln. Unbelievable experience.
